Thinking of my late friend Frieda Berryhill (1922 – 20 June 2012). Mainly known as an anti-nuclear activist, she’d come of age in the Third Reich, in Austria, and she knew fascism when she saw it. She was horrified by the US response to 9/11, by the “PATRIOT Act” (so strongly supported by Biden), by the warmongering of Bush II.
I can’t imagine how she would have coped with trump and trumpism, but I know she would not have been paralyzed, she’d have been speaking out against them. It’s our turn…..
